The Vikings: Valhalla showrunner, a spin-off of the Ragnar Lothbrok story, revealed that its plans are not limited to a single season.

For now we already know that Netflix has already filmed the first two seasons, but Jeb Stuart, its showrunner, confirmed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, his interest in developing multiple seasons of Vikings: Valhalla.

“When I was launching it, I was trying to make it a multi-season thing, because that way I can develop those characters into the stories over a longer and longer release. It wasn’t like, ‘What can we do? with the vikings this year? Because those characters really don’t just have emotional arcs, they literally have story arcs. You can’t just get to the topic tomorrow or next year.” the creator explained.
Vikings: Valhalla will arrive with its first season of 8 episodes on February 18.
