On June 22, at a press presentation event, the production team of the new film from Transformers: Awakening of the Beasts revealed some details of the next adventure.

The title of the new Transformers movie

During the event it was revealed that the title of the new film will be Transformers: Rise of the Beasts in english and Transformers: Awakening of the Beasts in Spanish.
The plot
Although the plot of the film was not exactly revealed, we know that it will be set in the year 1994 and will develop many of the characters that fans of the franchise met in the series Beast wars, which aired from 1996 to 1999. Specifically, Predacons (whose alternate mode, rather than vehicles, is animal mode) will receive particular attention.
In addition to the film taking place in New York, the filming took place in Peru and in the film we will see several characters fight in the ancient city of Machu Picchu. According to the producer, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the people of the area where they filmed were very happy to receive them.
Director, Steven Caple, Jr.., who was in charge of Creed 2, said that he also focused a lot on the soundtrack. Being set in 1994, we can expect a lot of rock and hip hop hits of the time.

The human cast
As for humans, the protagonists of this new adventure will be Anthony Ramos as Noah and Dominique Fishback as Elena. “My number 1 priority is to give the film a heart,” said Anthony Ramos. “Otherwise the movie wouldn’t need humans. And they have to be important to the plot.

As we well know, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will be back in a future installment of the multi-million dollar Paramount franchise. On the other hand, many more characters will debut in the titled Transformers: Awakening of the Beasts and among them are the powerful Terrorcons. The director of the tape, Steven Caple Jr. (Creed 2) shared this week on Instagram a first look at the vehicles that, in fiction, represent those entities from the planet Cybertron.

In this way, Transformers: Awakening of the Beasts will bring together all those robotic “species”, with the complement of the Terrorcons. These are another variant that in the film will have as leader Scourge, a ruthless hunter who transforms into a dark tow truck. Will accompany you Nightbird, whose transformation is into a Nissan Skyline sports car.
Regarding the Maximals and Predacons, let’s remember that they have the peculiarity of becoming animals, instead of cars. Airazor, Rhinox and Optimus Primal (voiced by Ron Perlman) are some of the characters in the series. Beast wars that will take center stage in the new movie Transformers.
‘The Predacons in our movie are more reptilian in nature. We’ve seen some in other Transformers movies, but [en esta nueva cinta] we can see another aspect of them, “said Steven Caple Jr. at the Paramount event (via) “It’s about building a background for these characters, and we’ll see it more on the Predacons and Terrorcons side.”
For his part, Lorenzo di Bonaventura confessed that “we had exhausted” the constant rivalry between the Autobots and Decepticons. Consequently, it was important to revitalize the franchise with novel heroes and villains. But fear not, for clearly the “vehicles” we all know and love will be back. The following photograph of the director provides sufficient evidence.

The premiere is scheduled for June 24, 2022.
