As detailed The Hollywood Reporter, an animated series is in development about the events of the graphic novel, in which Scott Pilgrim, protagonist of the adventure, must face the 7 evil ex-boyfriends of Ramona Flowers to go out with her.
Himself O’Malley will participate as showrunner, scriptwriter and producer to supervise from end to end this project, which still does not have a definitive green light to premiere. Scott Pilgrim’s animated series Vs The World is being worked on by Netflix but in conjunction with Universal Studio Group. If it passes the first pre-production tests, the animation work is in the hands of Science SARU, who recently worked in Star Wars: Visions.
