“We have been working with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios on the massive project which is the adaptation of a series of live-action from ONE PIECE in Hollywood. How many years has it been since it was announced? I know, I know! But rest assured that we have made steady progress all this time. It is not easy when working with people from different cultures, but it is precisely that process that can lead to something special. For now, we can announce the main cast. Or rather, we had to hurry up and announce it or else it would leak, apparently. Their faces, the size of their mouths and hands, their aura, the way they behave, their voice, their acting skills, their stature, the balance among the Straw Hat crew, etc.

We decided on this cast after numerous discussions involving people from all over the world. These are the people who will be our Straw Hat Pirates. It will take a little longer to finish this series, but we will continue to do our best to deliver a production that we are sure will be enjoyed around the world. Look forward to more updates in the future! “
