After the recent problems with the law that Ezra Miller has had, everything indicates that his presence will no longer be required by the DCEU after the film. Flash. In recent months, Miller has been arrested twice in Hawaii. In addition, the parents of an 18-year-old teenager filed a petition with a judge asking for protection against the actor on behalf of his son. Following this, Miller was served with a restraining order for threatening the family. Miller’s response to this was teasing on social media.
After all of this, Miller’s future in the DCEU was thrown into question. Now a report of dead line indicates that Warner executives are no longer keeping the actor in mind for the future of the DCEU after Flash. For now, the film is still standing and its premiere is still scheduled for June 23, 2023. However, this is enough time to fix certain elements and open the way for a change of protagonist.
What will happen to the Flash after Ezra Miller leaves?
There are several options for the character. As they point out in ScreenRant, one option could be to use the multiverse at the end of the next movie to make a switch to include another Flash. For example Wally West or Bart Allen. The other option, and surely one that fans would love, is to cast Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen on the big screen.
Whatever happens, everything indicates that Ezra Miller can say goodbye to his future as a superhero.
