According to some sites specializing in the franchise, the new episodes will begin production in November. It will all take place inside Elstree Studios, where the original trilogy of starwars. It is the first time since the 1980s that a project from the saga has been worked on at Elstree.

An interesting fact is that Andor, season 2, could be filmed for 18 months. Even for a production of this size, it is considered by many to be too long. Neither Disney nor Lucasfilm have confirmed this to be true, but considering the visual effects, production, and action sequence work, it doesn’t sound that far fetched.

What to expect after season 2 of Andor?

Although there are not so many details about the series, little by little more information begins to emerge. Initially it was commented that Andor It would have a total of five seasons. However, the cinematographer mentioned that he has been working on a series that changed his plans from five to only three seasons. Many claim that it refers to Andor.

If its duration is confirmed, this project would equal The Mandalorian like the series live action from Star Wars longer.

Andor will explore the formative years of rebel spy Cassian Andor. The series will take place five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Along with Diego Luna, Forest Whitaker and Genevieve O’Reilly also reprise their characters from the 2016 film.

There is still no exact date for the premiere of the series, however, some rumors indicate that it could arrive on Disney Plus in August. On May 26, Adria Arjona (Morbius), who has a still unknown role, will participate in the Star Wars Celebrationwhere the first trailer could be revealed.

Stellan Skarsgård, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Robert Emms and David Hayman round out the cast, although their characters remain under wraps.
