The Wheel of Time’s trailer offers a glimpse into Amazon’s try to conquer the TV series world

The first trailer for “The Wheel of Time” was published by Amazon Prime Video.

Robert Jordan’s book series with the same name and stars Rosamund Pike as Moiraine, a member of a mystical women’s organization that takes five youngsters on a trip all over the globe attempting to understand what one of them will fulfill the prophecy of the Dragon Reborn.

The magic characters explore the globe in a range of high-fantasy environments, sparkle, and battle terrible creatures in the trailer.

The cast includes Rand al-Thor, Josha Stradowski, Marcus Rutherford, Perrin Aybara and Zoë Robins, Nynaeve, Mat Cauthon, Barney Harris, and Egwene Al-Vere, Madeleine Madden.

The original book series consisted of 15 books from 1990 to 2013. During writing on the 12th volume, Jordan died in 2007 and left behind notes that aimed to assist others in completing the series. Brandon Sanderson has taken up the job and now acts as a production consultant for the Amazon series.

The Wheel of Time” is adapted by Rafe Judkins, a showrunner and managing producer. Larry Mondragon and Rick Selvage, Mike Weber, and Ted Field for Radar Pictures will produce for Red Eagle Entertainment. Darren Lemke, Marigo Kehoe, and Uta Briesewitz are also managing directors, and Briesewitz will direct the first two episodes. Pike is the producer, while Jordan’s wife, Harriet McDougal, and Sanderson are consulting producers. The series is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios.

On Friday, November 19, the first three episodes of the first season will be shown, with fresh episodes every Friday afternoon. The season finale is scheduled for 24 December.
