A Plague Tale: Innocence, the Asobo Studio video game released in 2019, managed to sneak into the big table on its own merit and without too much marketing work. In addition to its fun gameplay, much of this significance was due to its story, so much so that it will now be brought to television through a live-action series.
This was confirmed moments ago by the French studio, which also detailed that the production will take place in France to maintain the essence of the game and that Mathieu Turi will take over the direction. “It’s official! I am honored to be working on the television series adaptation of A Plague Tale. I can’t wait to bring Amicia and Hugo’s journey to the screen!Turi commented.

A Plague Tale: Innocence follows Amicia and Hugo De Rune, two brothers who are orphaned and must escape their assassins in a France ruled by the Inquisition and plagued by rats. Right now, Asobo Studio is working on a sequel titled A Plague Tale: Requiem.
